Events and conferences continue to adapt to the changing public health situation and many in-person banking and fintech conferences planned for the fall of 2021 will now take place as virtual events. The good news is this makes many industry events more accessible to more people.
What follows is an updated list of financial services and fintech events on the docket for the remainder of 2021 that are worth your consideration. We’ve also highlighted a few upcoming events announced for 2022.

FinovateFall
Dates: Sept 13-15, 2021
Format: In-person and virtual
FinovateFall will be an in-person gathering, marking your chance to reconnect with industry professionals and learn from a range of perspectives across the fintech ecosystem on what to expect in the near-term. Fintech World Forum 2021

A global event attracting top speakers on topics including embedded banking and fintech solutions, open banking, better customer experiences and creating value through innovation and fintech partnerships.
FinCon
Dates: September 22-25, 2021
Format: In-person and virtual
FinCon is a digital-marketing hybrid with the goal being to bring together personal finance content creators and brand reps to improve connections and collaboration. This means content creators, bloggers, YouTubers, advisors, social media influencers and others will be on hand. FinCon provides opportunities to meet (virtually) with other creators. It also provides access to online speakers. For any content creators and brand reps looking to scale visibility online and learn about the latest in digital marketing, this is an event worth considering.
U.S. Fintech Symposium
Dates: October 4 -22, 2021
Format: Virtual only
This event provides attendees with a chance to learn from leaders in the fintech space about strategizing, how to drive growth and more. One of its stated goals is “to foster meaningful fintech conversations that drive organizational, regulatory and industry innovation.”
ABA Bank Marketing Conference
Dates: September 27-28, 2021
Format: Virtual Only
Important Notice: The ABA Bank Marketing Conference that was scheduled to take place Sept. 26-28 in Austin, Texas, has been changed to a virtual-only event. The virtual event will take place Monday, Sept. 27 and Tuesday, Sept. 28.

SIBOS 2021
Dates: Oct. 11-14, 2021
Format: Virtual only
Sibos builds on its first all-digital event, which took place in 2020, to drive engagement on major and emerging issues across the financial ecosystem, and delivering an enhanced, immersive delegate experience.
Participants will benefit from community connections via new collaborative networking opportunities and receive thought leadership, insight and inspiration. New York Fintech Week
Dates: Oct 18 - 22, 2021

This event is an inclusive and innovative collaboration for the startup ecosystem. The week features a series of events discussing a range of the top fintech initiatives at conferences and invite-only roundtables.
CPI Global Summit
Dates: October 19-20, 2021
Format: Virtual
In the wake of COVID-19, this summit will address how the industry will define the new B2B payments flow for treasury and transaction services and commercial cards. Combining pre-recorded and interactive sessions with 1:1 video meetings, attendees can expect discussions around T&E recovery, AP and AR automation and the drive to digital transformation, and a fintech showcase, amongst many other sessions. They can also look forward to more than five hours of dedicated networking time.

Money 20/20 USA
Dates: October 24-27
Format: In-person
Money 20/20 is one of the industry's most popular conferences complete with in-depth analysis and insight on the global financial industry. Attendees will hear from senior leaders and creative masterminds in exclusive presentations. They will also have the chance to network with industry peers in 1:1 meetings and learn about the latest innovations in the expo hall. This event also offers a virtual meeting platform, to connect with the community, collaborate and get business conversations started ahead of the show.

Banking Transformation Forum
Dates: Nov. 9-10, 2021

American Banker: Digital Banking

2020’s acceleration of digital trends across banking, payments and e-commerce has propelled the industry to this pivotal moment. Now that there’s light at the end of the pandemic tunnel, what trends and tech are here to stay, what will become obsolete and what, if anything, will return to its pre-COVID state? CPI Middle Market Summit

Format: Virtual
A combination of live and pre-recorded sessions, this virtual event offers 1:1 meetings as well as networking opps for professionals in the commercial cards, treasury transactions services and B2B payments spaces. As the name implies, sessions will be focused on the middle market and overcoming hurdles brought on by the pandemic, as well as defining how the industry can collaborate in defining the new B2B payments flow as well as growth opportunities within B2B payments.
